2012 Florida Pool Pump/Pump Motor Energy Efficiency Requirements

Effective 12/31/11 all new residential swimming pool circulation pumps or replacement pump motors, one horsepower and larger, must be able to operate at two or more speeds.   Prior to this requirement most pumps and pump motors were single speed.  Call us with any questions regarding this requirement.
